Sheep Shearing Time

Late in April is sheep shearing time at Ardenwood Farm :-))
It is several weeks after "lambing time" when the baby sheep are born.

Sheep shearing at Ardenwood Farm involves about 10 ewes and one ram, small scale relative to "Golden Shears" contests in say New Zealand

go to "Video"
     http://www.goldenshears.co.nz/live12.htm
note there are contests both for shearing and woolhandling.

The Ardenwood audience gets a much closer look at the action.
(And likely a more realistic old small farm setting
but the shearing was hand power, not electric ;-))

About Done

Apparently, if you tip a sheep over, with confidence, you can do about anything ??
