SNOW SCULPTURE

"Camp street after a winter night snow storm. It was a morning you just wanted to stay in the sack and wait for Spring! Some guys were already out clearing their doorways." Alan Graham

I could not believe the wind could blow so hard for so long as it did at Red Canyon. It would howl for hours, plastering snow to the sides of everything. Wind did this beautiful sculpture, looking for all the world like a breaking wave on a Hawaiian beach. I can dream a little, can't I? The hills beyond the motor pool are almost blown clear of snow, as are the rocky streets between the barracks.
