HOBART GENERATOR

This is a HOBART, 30 kW, 400-cycle, gasoline GENERATOR. It is being brought online to power the (IFC) Integrated Fire Control Nike radar vans. These generators were used primarily to furnish emergency power during an actual alert and during Operational Readiness evaluations. During normal daily operation commercial power converters powered the equipment.
They converted 60-cycle power to 400-cycle power.
